The larger-than-average driver improves the efficiency of energy conversion and provides a solid foundation for powerful bass. In addition, the larger size of the driver results in lower resonance points at low frequencies, allowing for deeper bass, dynamic sound and an overall authoritative sound. This large dynamic driver can present an ultra-wide frequency response of 10 Hz to 40 kHz, providing a studio-like listening experience. Nanofibre Composite Diaphragm For Clean Sound And Natural Tone

The FiiO FT1 features a diaphragm made from paper wood fibres derived from 90-year-old Northern European spruce, renowned for its clear and natural sound. This spruce undergoes a meticulous process to create a specialised pulp, which is then reinforced with carbon fibre for acoustic resilience. After baking and moulding, the diaphragm achieves a lightweight and durable thickness of approximately 0.1mm. To optimise performance, a lightweight PU suspension seal enhances diaphragm compliance and low-frequency elasticity, enriching the warmth and density of vocals. The nanowood fibre cone, combined with the PU seal, delivers excellent high-frequency extension, precise sound, and a rich, dense midrange, perfectly balancing the FT1’s acoustic design for an immersive listening experience.

The FiiO FT1, FiiO’s first closed-back over-ear headphones, features a groundbreaking W-shaped suspension seal and a larger 25mm voice coil. This design provides a 25.8% greater effective vibrating area, storing more energy and minimising vibration losses. The combination of a hard dome and compliant suspension reduces distortion, delivering a more refined sound.
