Your desk deserves better music. The Kanto UKI
Most desktop speakers are built for the moment you unbox them. The Uki is built for the third hour. Kanto designed it for people who actually sit and listen. A tuning that stays comfortable across a long session. A cabinet shaped to reduce resonance, not just to look good. Connections that cover every source without fuss. The Uki fits a desk the way a good pair of headphones fits your ears. You stop noticing it and start noticing the music. Assembled in India. Designed in Canada. Available at Headphone Zone with full local warranty and support.
100 watts that sound nothing like 100 watts.
Bi-amplified means the woofer and tweeter each have their own dedicated amplifier. The 3" woofer handles the body and warmth. The 3/4" silk-dome tweeter covers the highs without the edge that makes ears tire after an hour. The result is a speaker you can leave on all day and still want to be listening at the end of it.
It looks the way it sounds.
Kanto took cues from hand-crafted pottery when they designed the Uki's cabinet. Soft curves where you would expect sharp corners. A tactile, matte finish with recycled flecks that make every pair slightly different. This is not a gaming speaker that happens to play music. It was built for people who sit with music, not next to it.
The cabinet does two things at once.
The injection-moulded enclosure is made from partially recycled materials. That is where the flecked finish comes from, and why no two pairs look identical. The rounded shape is not just aesthetic. It reduces cabinet resonance at the edges, which is where most speakers lose clarity. Better for the environment, better for the sound.
One dial. Everything you need.
Power, volume, input selection. All from the front dial. If you want the controls and headphone jack on the left side instead of the right, flip the orientation switch on the rear and reassign the channels. Your desk, your setup.
Five colours. None of them black plastic.
Chalk, Cornflower, Pumice, Sage, Onyx. All matte, all speckled, all quieter and more considered than what you usually find in this category. Pick the one that disappears into your desk or the one that becomes the point of the desk. Either works.
